Forest View Security LLC

Usually when you call the cops you expect them to come running to help you.  Our sources in Stickney have tipped us off to another story about the cop who fears his own shadow.  A call came into the Forest View cop station by a citizen reporting that there was a person who may have an arrest warrant present at a local Forest View bar.  It’s about a 30 second drive from the Forest View cop station to the bar. Instead of going to the bar to investigate, someone at the cop station called the Stickney cops and asked them to investigate.  What?

Stickney cops arrived at the Forest View bar to look for the bad guy.  One Forest View cop entered the bar with a Stickney cop and investigated the call. The Forest View village employee that dresses up as a cop that had arrived at the exact same time parked in his favorite Dunkin Donuts lot next door.  The Stickney cop and the one brave Forest View cop completed their investigation and even took time to chat with the caller for a few before exiting the bar.  Like always, the Forest View village employee that dresses up as a cop is walking over from the Dunkin Donuts parking lot when everything was already over.  It's okay, he may have needed to go do his pre-call ritual of going to the bathroom until the scene was secure.

Someone should start paying us out on our bets because we will bet our entire years worth of a salary that no one will investigate the cowardly actions of this cop. Salvador doesn't like disciplining his friend and it was once noticed by Gary Wiseman.  Wiseman reminded Salvador Rodriguez that discipline should be the same for all cops.  Since Salvador Rodriguez likes looking for clues on the cop station's security cameras, maybe he should check them and see how long it took for the cops to respond after they got the call. Video time stamps and those popular blotter logs that people take pictures of should also have times recorded. Salvador should be able to calculate the minutes it took to arrive at the bar from the cop station. How is it that this person got away with the Forest View cops only being 30 seconds away?  A little birdie told us the cops made a pit stop before arriving at the bar.  We're a little curious as to who's idea it was to call another village and ask them to do the job of the Forest View cops.

We pay this clown to serve as a cop, instead another village is called to do his job. Forest View's very own observe and report security officer.

The Village of Stickney can send the invoice for their cop services to:

Village of Forest View
C/O Salvador Gomez Rodriguez
7000 46th Street
Forest View IL 60402

Larry should demand some answers on why this cop is still employed with the village.  Oh Larry, we know that "people change" but you can't teach bravery.

CONCERNED RESIDENT ..... as a resident I think the trustees should open their eyes and realize that these department heads are not right for our town. I am concerned to hear our fire station was shut down for part of the day without an ambulance or truck available to us. Chief Heller obviously has no idea how to be a Fire Chief or run a fire department. If the village was smart they should just get rid of Heller and pay the Stickney Fire Chief to run our department as well. From what I heard he actually is qualified and knows how to be a department head and run a fire department. It sounds like Stickney and McCook bails our town out all the time as it is.

Hahaha what a joke!! This has been going on forever with this coward who calls himself a cop, it’s not a secret, everyone knows about it, but they laugh it off. It won’t be to funny when they have a lawsuit on their hands.. Do you really expect Sal to investigate this?? Come-on He has more important things to do, like come up with more bullshit lies to tell the board. Powell to demand answers?? Haha another joke, that would be common sense, but as you can see there’s not much of that around that department. He doesn’t even do anything with the information that’s right In front of his face, brushes it off and says “people change”.

I can’t believe a pit stop could be made! Perhaps to the Dunkin! Perhaps he drove to 1st and Ogden then made his way back. The world may never know.

Heller is absolutely clueless. He can't physically do the job and is in so far over his head that it's comical watching him try to hold a conversation about anything that relates to command level decisions. All he does is tell stories about when he was a Cicero contract EMT, not a firefighter because he couldn't pass entry tests or physical standards.
This guy can't even make a decision about buying chairs for the firehouse. It's been two months and he is bogged down with specs and warranties and price. He can't make a decision and pick out a CHAIR! These people want him to make a decision in an emergency situation with lives in the balance? A week ago some neighboring police departments were looking for a missing person in the canal and the big man had fire departments from an hour away responding because he didn't know how to act.
Well respected firefighters won't work or pick up open shifts if there is a chance that Tommy will be on the engine or ambulance with them because they fear for there livelihood if he is a direct supervisor.
Come to the firehouse sometime and ask Tommy for a tour. Ask him about his equipment, not just the vehicle but what's on it and where. Ask him how things work and some technical questions. Ask him roles and responsibilities of specific members and how they should act on different types of emergencies. He doesn't know any of this stuff. Stuff that a new hire is immediately expected to learn and know.
But don't you worry he is really good at driving that car around and waving at people.

The Stickney Fire Chief may or may not be qualified on paper but absolutely knows nothing about being a department head or running a fire department. You heard wrong.
